At the time of arrival at the door, parcels from the outside package carrier are inbounded in the mail center, and the data is downloaded to the Trackpad Desktop, or scanned in using the Trackpad Handheld, or both. After sortation, mail center couriers carry this light and portable tracking tool to capture an individual signature at the time of desk delivery. Delivery data is then downloaded to the Control System via wireless data transfer.
